Joel Garza is founder and Senior Pastor of The Bridge Church in Robstown, Texas a non-denominational church. Pastor Joel Garza began fulfilling his call to the ministry in 2000 at the age of 25 when he founded The Bridge Church. It was in a small 1,900 sq. ft. neighborhood church building where the church got it's start.

 Five years later the church has a total of approximately 20,000 sq. ft. in the downtown area of Robstown, TX. making it's presence felt in the community. Pastor Garza's visionary leadership is launching the church into an acquisition campaign, with the vision to acquire real estate & existing businesses. He also motivates his congregation to develop an entrepreneurial mentality. He believes that the people of God are called to empowerment and are to dominate wherever the Lord has placed them.

Pastor Garza, together with The Bridge Church, air a weekly broadcast on a local public access channel while also being co-founders of Channel 21,Vision Celestial in Houston, TX. Pastor Garza's preachings and teachings are directed to inspire and equip the people of God to live in the fullness of which the Word of God clearly speaks. Pastor Garza's steadfast conviction, that if the word of God does not depart from our mouth; meditated upon; and performed, then it will produce success and prosperity for the Christian, is what drives and motivates him to preach and teach the Word of God without compromise.

 Joel Garza received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi in 1998. While preparing for his Law School Admittance Test (LSAT) he felt the call of God into the ministry and re-directed his focus. After attaining a job in the criminal justice field as a probation officer with Nueces County, he felt an even deeper call to full time ministry. Joel Garza left the secular career field to pursue his ministerial call and has never looked back.

 In the summer of 2000 Joel Garza met Sandra Villarreal who would become his wife only seven months after they met and only four months after The Bridge Church was founded. They now have two beautiful daughters.
