Leadership Academy
Are you hungry to grow and dive deeper into God’s calling for your life?
Leadership Academy is a 24-week class designed to better equip you as a disciple of Christ and a leader at The Bridge Church. Your growth and development happens through practical teachings, classroom exercises and discussions, and the camaraderie of fellow students. You will also learn from The Bridge Church staff as they facilitate the class, highlight various ministry areas, and partner with you for one-on-one coaching.
The class begins on September 12 & meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8pm at The Hub in Ottumwa.
Trimester 1: Bible Class (8 weeks)
Trimester 2: Leading Yourself (8 weeks)
Trimester 3: Leading Others (8 weeks)

Is Leadership Academy my next step?
Leadership Academy is best suited for someone who has previously been in a small group and is already serving on a Dream Team. If you have not yet been in a small group, then we recommend taking Freedom first. If you haven’t served on a Dream Team, then Onboard is a great next step.
What are the expectations?
- Participation in classroom discussions and exercises.
- Attendance at a minimum of 80% of the classes
- 30-60 minutes of homework per week
- Regular spiritual disciplines, including Bible reading and prayer.
- Serving on a Dream Team
What is the cost?
The cost is $200 for the year with an option to make two payments.
How do I apply?
You can fill out the interest form here. We will then follow up and send you a link to register. The deadline to register is September 5, 2023. If you are interested, we would love to know even before then! Please fill out the interest form as soon as possible and we will make sure that you are invited to the Leadership Academy Interest Meeting on Tuesday, August 29, 6:30pm at The Hub in Ottumwa.
